It was a busy day for the three party leaders. Liberal leader Zach Churchill, Progressive Conservative leader Tim Houston and NDP leader Claudia Chender took part in a roundtable held by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce yesterday. Afterwards, Houston campaigned in the Halifax area. NDP’er Claudia Chender announced plans to make Halifax ferries free, fast track a rapid transit strategy and give commuters a break with relief on gas prices by dropping the gas tax when prices are high.
