Nova Scotians with loved ones in long-term care are feeling hopeful as striking workers begin voting on a new contract. CUPE, representing about 3,600 staff, has reached a tentative agreement with the province after eight weeks on strike. Employees at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home are set to vote first, with details of the agreement to be revealed afterward.
