A familiar face of the COVID-19 pandemic is retiring. Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, will retire in December. He has worked in the province’s healthcare sector for 27 years. Premier Tim Houston, in accepting Strang’s retirement notice, thanked him for his service, especially his guidance and leadership through the pandemic. The province says a search for Strang’s replacement will begin soon.
