Nova Scotians have had a look at the Progressive Conservative’s election platform. Part of the campaign promises to cap electricity rate increases. Party leader Tim Houston says if Nova Scotia Power is greenlit for a rate increase, if re-elected, his party would take an average of hikes across the country and order the utility not to exceed that.
