The Nova Scotia Liberals are demanding Lunenburg Progressive Conservative candidate Susan Corkum-Greek be removed from the provincial election ballot. The Liberals are accusing her of voter bribery after a volunteer was seen handing out $2.07 gift cards at a Tim Hortons drive-thru. When the campaign manager resigned earlier this week, he said Corkum-Greek did not know the gift cards.
The Liberals have taken legal action seeking a declaration from the Nova Scotia Supreme Court that it violates the Elections Act. The court will not hear the case until after Election Day on November 26th.
