Some local organizations will benefit from provincial funding. The province announced the recipients of the Community Facilities Improvement Program, the Rink Revitalization Fund and the Recreation Facility Development Grant. The Mahone Bay United Soccer Association will receive $25,000, and the Chester District School will get $50,000 under the Recreational Facility Development Grant. Under the Rink Revitalization Fund, Lunenburg will receive $70,000 while the Bridgewater Curling Club will receive $30,000.
