Lunenburg town council is considering adopting a new social media policy at its July meeting. Notice of the change was given at this week’s meeting. The proposed policy establishes guidelines for how the Town uses and manages its official social media accounts. The proposed policy would automatically turn off comments and public replies, but staff could still enable commenting if required. The proposed policy applies only to official town sites, not to the personal sites of council members.
