A special election will be held in Mahone Bay for the position of one councillor. The election will be held on February 14th. To prepare, revisions to the Preliminary List of Electors will begin on Monday and will continue until January 13, 2026. Each household will be sent a notice and asked to submit their household information. That can be done several ways, including in person at Town Hall, in the mail or in the mail slot, by phone, or by email. Nominations for the council seat will open on January 2nd and end on the 13th.
