Mahone Bay has provided a year-end update on the Edgewater Project. Officials say the project is safe for winter use with base asphalt paving, drainage adjustments, lighting, and key roadway features finished before the freezing winter weather arrived. Some final paving, landscaping, and non-critical concrete work will shift to spring 2026 due to weather and asphalt plant schedules. The road will remain fully functional through winter, with the remaining work to be done between late April and mid-May 2026.
