While Edgewater's roads and parking areas are now fully open to traffic an additional phase of construction begins today. Work on the extension of the waterfront infrastructure on Clearland Road will impact some areas. Town officials say the construction team will make every effort to minimize disruption and manage access for residents of Clearland Rd. Some of the areas affected include the Dynamite Trail parking lot which will be accessible via Clearway, but there will be no through route to Edgewater. To help avoid congestion with trail users turning around at the parking lot, parking at the Wye/Welcome trail intersection is recommended. This work is expected to be done by August 1st.
