A wet and windy weekend is in store for the Maritimes this weekend. A low-pressure system from the northeastern United States will move into Nova Scotia on Saturday. In the Lunenburg area, we could see 20 to 30 millimetres of rain before the system moves off on Sunday. The area could see wind gusts of 40 to 70 kilometres an hour Saturday and through Sunday.
