Thousands of residents in Lunenburg County remain without power this morning after high winds and rain knocked out power across the province. The Town of Lunenburg Electric Utility says the high volume of outages is causing delays in restoration times. Officials say Nova Scotia Power has assigned incident numbers to the Town of Lunenburg and that they are in the queue for investigation and restoration. According to the Nova Scotia Power outage map, restoration times for customers in Lunenburg County range from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday.
