A public safety advisory has been issued to residents of Lunenburg and Queens Counties about a dangerous man possibly armed with a weapon. Residents are being told to find a safe location, do not approach the suspect and don't pick up hitchhikers. The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, 6-feet tall with dark hair and a beard wearing a brown bandana and pants, grey shirt and carrying a black satchel bag. Lunenburg District RCMP are still in the area of Highway 210 and Old Chelsea Road in Chelsea. The public can expect to see an increased police presence as officers investigate. Anyone with information is asked to please contact Lunenburg District RCMP at 902-527-5555 or 911 in an emergency.
