Saltwind Transportation has resumed service, with a few changes. In-Cabin cameras have been installed, all calls to the service will be recorded, driver phones are being set up so drivers can notify the company and the appropriate authorities in the event of a security incident and driver logs and incident reporting process have been updated. The company is also hiring contract drivers with their own vehicles and part-time staff for relief work. Saltwind Transportation temporarily shut down last week out of an abundance of caution after what the owner described as confrontations with the public after an incident involving Mayor Jamie Myra.
