The water will be turned off in parts of Lunenburg on Thursday. Public Works will be replacing a leaking water valve. Water will be shut off from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in areas of Fox, Duke and Hopson Streets. It is recommended that residents in the affected area turn off hot water systems during the outage. Once the water service is returned, run a cold water faucet into your bathtub or sink in case of any air discoloration until it runs normally.
