Workers’ Compensation Board Cutting Rates

The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia is cutting its insurance rates by 15 percent for the first time in over 40 years. This reduction comes as injury rates in the province reach a record low. CEO Karen Adams explains that this drop allows for better financial stability and expedited employee recovery. Additionally, workers’ benefits will now be adjusted for inflation, providing further financial support as the economy changes.
