In order to fix a water leak, Town of Lunenburg Public Works will be shutting off the water in some areas Thursday. Areas affected are Lawrence St, Creighton St, Kissing Bridge Rd, Duke St, and Cornwallis St. Water will be shut off until 7:00 in the evening. Residents in the affected area should turn off hot water systems. Once the water service is returned, run a cold water faucet into your bathtub or sink in case of any air discoloration until it runs normally.
